Materials TENCEL® is a semi-synthetic material made using sustainably sourced wood pulp. Cool and silky soft, it is used in a wide range of products from blouses to activewear and children’s clothes.
TENCEL® lyocell is produced with pulp from sustainably planted eucalyptus and other fast-growing woods. The yarn is spun with minimal chemical waste and both fibres and the fabrics made from them are biodegradable. Pure TENCEL® fabrics drape really beautifully and holds colour well. The material has a cotton-like appearance and an airy, silky smooth feel. It is often blended with cotton or wool and used in a wide range of products, from blouses to activewear and children’s clothes.
