A shared appreciation for craftsmanship and quality forms the foundation of our collaboration with the bakery behind ARKET CAFÉ’s signature bread.
The Nordic baking tradition is one of the pillars of ARKET CAFÉ. From buns to cookies, sandwiches and wraps, our baked goods are made with high-quality, natural ingredients. Our bread supplier, BAK, is a Swedish concept bakery dedicated to quality and craftsmanship. In close collaboration with our team, they have developed a new signature bread for our cafés, which is used for sandwiches in all our European locations.
Celebrating a diverse set of traditions and baked daily on-site, this artisanal ciabatta-inspired bread provides a complex flavour and a rich nutrient profile derived from heritage crops. The ingredients and proportions are fine-tuned to create a dough that can tolerate freezing while achieving the ideal fluffy texture once baked.

Olivia Lonsdale on the joys of going smaller
Interviews|March 2025
At first glance, the works of filmmaker Olivia Lonsdale seem hard to place in time. It might be because of the timeless beauty of every frame, the recognisable emotions she points to, or the grainy texture of her visual language, reminiscent of the past and mirroring the present. It’s deliberate: in her work, and in her life, the filmmaker and actor finds pleasure in the art of limits, favouring reflection and pause before finding the shot.
