Homeware The Design Library
For the main print story this spring, our designers have revisited the stunning collections of The Design Library, New York, searching for vintage graphic motifs.
In collaboration with the Library’s team of archivists, we came across a series of softly swirling organic patterns from the collections of 20th-century silk firms Georgio Taroni Desegni, Italy, and Bianchini-Férier, France, which were transformed into new designs for home textiles and ceramics.
