LEAVING A POSITIVE FOOTPRINT

Community Creating something new and making claims on our shared resources comes with the responsibility to leave a meaningful contribution to our community, and to refrain from harmful practices.

From our studio, through the supply chain, to the products and communication, we are working to promote a culture of equality and diversity, with a genuine consideration of the well-being of others.

Women in leadership

To celebrate women’s achievements and raise awareness of the continued efforts needed to build a gender-equal future, we take cues from UN Women's theme for this year's International Women’s Day and discuss why women’s advancement in leadership matters.

Sharing stories and learning from each other

With a passion for learning new skills and finding out unknown facts about the things we surround ourselves with, ARKET Social Media Coordinator Marie-Louise O’Rourke aims to create a broad dialogue around sustainable living.

Craft cooperation change

Launched in August 2019, our Craft Cooperation Change collection included a series of handcrafted bowls and baskets from social entrepreneurs in Rwanda and Uganda.

Merging food cultures

The Swedish split pea hummus is one of the signature components of the ARKET café menu. The hummus is produced by Sevan, a family-owned company outside Stockholm that merges Middle Eastern cuisine with Nordic flavours.

The grid is an essential element of our visual identity. It represents the notion of the archive and is used to organise and display information ranging from the names of plants to fabric weights and different types of materials used in our collections. These nine squares symbolise the separate parts that together form our world, and they are also the areas where we strive to make a difference.
