material Konbu Nylon
Produced by Komatsu Seiren, a weaving mill in Ishikawa prefecture at the coast of Sea of Japan, specialising in synthetic yarns and high-technical finishes, Konbu-N is a unique material innovation that gives our pure nylon fabric a natural and organic appearance, reminiscent of compact cotton canvas – or of the crinkled texture of dried sea kelp, known as konbu in Japanese. Distinguished by a firm and dry touch, the limited collection of Archive Series Konbu Nylon bags are solid enough to stand on their own, and the fabric’s firmness and rigidity create a sense of added volume.
